Golden Car of the Year: Citroen CX, the best of all time

Revolutionary. That’s the word that even today looking back, this model defines Citroen. The CX takes its name from the marked obsession with its designer Robert Opron: minimize drag. The Citroen CX had a drag coefficient of 0.35 CX, which succeeded thanks to this design coined by Opron and was clearly inspired by the Project L Pininfarina.

Technology was another sign of the Citroen CX, mainly its hydropneumatic suspension, which later inherited other brand models double chevron. Thanks to her, the CX became one of the most comfortable cars in its era and laid the foundation of this brand
