149M, a new Ferrari is on the way

Ferrari is about to take the 149M Roll Project: a new model is on the pole. Although being strict, is more than likely to be an update of the Ferrari California, whose internal name is precisely F149. It has all the ballots to be formally submitted in Geneva.

The Geneva Motor Show will be the scenario where a new Ferrari will be released officially: the Maranello marque has announced that the Project reveals the 149M, and near the Swiss sample is easy to make the rule of three. While it is true that taking the name, hopefully it is an improvement or ‘restyling’ of the Ferrari California, known internally as the F149.

The retractable hardtop convertible was introduced just two years ago at the Geneva Motor Show and the letter M, as happened with the 575M Maranello, makes us conclude that the improved new Ferrari California will have both mechanical and design .

Beginning with the main course, it is expected that the GDI 4.3 liter V8 and 460 hp is replaced by the 3.8 V8 of 552 hp riding the Maserati Quattroporte. It would be logical that the retractable roof was improved, which would reduce your weight, as well as the passenger compartment, where you will surely find new details. We will leave doubts in a few days.
